I'm American and I'm tired of seeing [USA] after someone's name on Reddit.

I get it, you're from the United States of America. Just by that alone, you think you're an exception to the rest of the world, and that your opinions and opinions of yours matter [so] much more than others to the point where you feel like you [need] to put your nationality on your username to show that you're an American, as if you're some sort of superhero or an exception to the rest of the world. You think everyone wants to know what country you're from just because you're American? There are tons of talented people in this world that work just as hard as Americans to make ends meet, yet they're nothing in your eyes simply because they're not American. This is the kind of arrogance I see here on a daily basis and have for years now.

I'm sick to death of seeing [USA] [Californian] [New Yorker] [insert city/state here]. You do this because you believe that your fellow foreigners will treat you differently simply because you're American. You think your nationality grants you instant respect? Nobody cares where you're from. I don't care what country you come from: you will not get any special treatment just because of your nationality.

I'm sick of seeing this so much to the point where I'm going to wave the anti-American flag high.

Edit 1: to all who are going to message me and tell me that I should move out of the country, I've tried. I was denied a visa to Canada. I am working on a visa to Japan. I would rather die than move to Texas than the South.
