I was driving and I saw something that I don't want to believe was real. What was it?

I was driving at night and I saw a car pull over on the side of the road. It was dark, and there was nothing around but trees. I saw two people get out of the car, but it was weird because they were too far away for me to see their faces. One of them walked towards my car and I could see that it was a woman, tall and slender. She started running towards my car and I could see that she had long blonde hair. <br><br>The weird part was that the other person was also running towards my car. I couldn't see their face, but I could see that they were wearing a long coat. I didn't know what to do, so I just kept driving. As I got closer, I realized that they were running right in front of my car. It was like they were trying to make me hit them.<br><br>I slammed on the brakes and swerved to the side, but they disappeared. I didn't see them hit the ground or anything, they just vanished. I stopped my car and looked back, but there was nothing there. It was like they had never existed at all.
