Just watched freaks and geeks and it's one of the shitniest things I've ever seen

If that show was set back in 92 it would've been a faithful depiction of how Fucking delusional the teenage and 20 year old males of the time were as well as the most accurate redition of teenage girls in the media.<br><br>If you've seen the show you know what means, freaks and geeks, you do the math, but for those who haven't, it's about: <br>An early 91 set show featuring highschool and college students. A dorky highschool skater boy falls for a teenage college girl who leaves her old college bf for him. She also happens to be one of the most popular and attractive chicks in college and this is not played as: "oh my gosh a beautiful woman is interested in me, I feel like a love machine" but rather: "oh my gosh why would you bother talking to me" as if they somehow don't realize how fucking endangered the species of moderately attractive women married to high-status males is. <br><br>The skater boy's sister means while has complete access to the most popular highschool jock who also happens to be her bully. One time he's pretending to be into her to get her to do his homework for him but looses his desire to do the assignment to how fucking hot she is. He then spends the rest of the season falling in and out of love with her and making out with her while still maintaining this semi-bully dynamic with her: "Oh I can't believe you're so smart, I love smart women". Then she will eventually go out with his friend and he'll freak out about it, but they'll make up and go back to making out at the end of the episode.<br><br>Sarah Hagen and James Franco in the early 2000's was the closest we got to this dynamic since, but it was still nothing compared to what this show portrays.
