Followed my mom and sisters

This happened when I was 9 at a gas station we stopped at in the middle of nowhere. It was one of those gas stations that basically only had a few bathrooms, some drinks, and a little gas station market. I was in the car with my twin sister when I saw some guy pull up in a black car with tinted windows (not sure of the make). He pulled up right next to us and I remember seeing a smile on his face as he looked back at us for a few seconds before sitting there. <br><br>I’m not sure why, but something about this just seemed off to me and I didn’t forget about it. Me and my sister were sitting in the backseat playing games when we saw my mom and 5 year old sister get out of the car, my mom was trying to get my little sister to stop getting into the car when my mom said, ‘Let’s go to the bathroom real fast so we don’t have to stop again soon’. When my mom and little sister got in the bathrooms, my mom yelled to me and my sister asking us if we wanted to go in too which we said yes to. <br><br>By the time we walked in the gas station the man from the black car was already walking into the market. He looked at us for a second before going up to the counter and talking to the cashier. Then when we were walking to the bathrooms I remember catching him staring again and he looked away after that. When we were done with the bathrooms and walking back out to the car that man followed us out to the car and he stopped and looked when we got into the car. He made sure nobody was looking before he did anything else. He walked up to the car window and started tapping on my sisters window. She rolled it down thinking he was going to say something to us and he just smirks at her and says, ‘You guys are really cute’. <br><br>I was really surprised at this and he did it a couple more times asking us ‘Do you want to come and hang out with me?’. We declined and I don’t think he knew that my mom was right behind him. My mom asked him what he was doing and he said that we were just talking. He left after that and we got into the car. <br><br>He followed us for a few miles before we turned and he kept going straight. We told my dad about it when we got home and he thought it was weird.
