I got some of my ass grabbed today.

Today, I went to a place that was playing music for people to dance. I was wearing a pretty bare floral dress, because I’m a little baby with a baby’s body and I wanted to look cute.<br><br>And I don’t mean to sound like a Karen, I’m gonna preface my whole story with the fact that I’m not trying to make some grand narrative of woe, I’m just going to state what happened and state the fact that I was uncomfortable.<br><br>I got really tired at one point, so I went over to sit by this large table that had a corner of it isolated from the rest of it.<br><br>I sat there, and at one point this man and woman came over and started setting up equipment. I move over to let them set up, and they start setting up this large speaker.<br><br>When they are done, the woman starts giving me weird looks, and I ask “are you okay?” She asks “You’re not with this dude?” And I’m like “nope, I’m just sitting”, she says “Mind if I join you” and I’m like sure (I guess she wants to be around women?!). She sits down a little far from me, and the man says “No, come over here” and starts pulling the woman toward him, and she’s like “No, I’m good, I’ma stay over here”. The man is like “No, no, no, no come over here.”<br><br>The woman was completely not comfortable with him pulling her, and then he turns to me and says “Do you like my music?” And I’m like “Oh, sure” because it’s electronic, and I say the one main artist I know who is electronic (Because I hadn’t heard his music *yet*) and he’s like “I can play better than him” and I’m like “Sure, I’ll listen” and he’s like “Mind if I show you some of my moves” I’m like “Sure” and then he comes up to me, and tries to grind up on my ass. I’m like “No” and I push him back, but my push was weak and he’s pretty heavy, and then he’s like “Is it okay if I give you a hug?” And I’m like “no, it’s not okay.”<br><br>And he’s like “Wow, fuck you” (with a weird accent) and he gets up and moves over to his own corner. Like...The fuck?!<br><br>Please, don’t tell me that I should’ve known better, I’m literally a baby at 20, excuse me for not knowing not to trust the shady looking black man at the concert, okay?
