I told a young woman that she and her kind are the reason why the world is currently in a mess. She was undeterred.

A friend of mine was over the other day to get a smoke on the balcony, and after a while, a young couple pulled up and started talking to us as they waited for the elevator. They were probably early 20s or younger.

I noticed she kept looking at me, and I'm figuring it out, then I realize she's out of the 4 of us (me, my friend, her and her boyfriend), i'm the only one that isn't a couple. With my short hair and lack of makeup, I probably looked like just another random guy standing around on the balcony. Then she says 'you're really pretty, yeah?' and says she would want my makeup and hair style. I tell her i'm a dude, she obviously does *not* notice the bulge in my pants. Her boyfriend looks at me like i am a crazy person when I pull him aside and tell him I'm a dude. Then he decides to leave when I refuse to talk to him.

She stays afterwards, and I keep talking to her, she tries to go back to girl talk, and I keep bringing it back to 'I'm a guy, you don't know the world through my eyes' kinda thing, and i tell her that women are the reason this world is in the mess it is in today. she says she disagrees, and I start rattling off examples of women's privilage, and she ultimately does not care, because she still thinks i'm cute. She eventually leaves and goes on her way.

I don't get it, was she just a woman that called everyone cute? I don't know, her and her boyfriend had been together for a couple of years. I don't know what to make of this, other than it being a funny anectode.
