I stole thousands and thousands of dollars in supplies from my job for the past 15 years

I’ve been with my company for 15 years. I am the head of my department and I am top notch at my job. The owner of my company has always been explicit that if you get caught stealing from him, you are fired. I have watched two of my co-workers get fired over this. <br><br>I steal office supplies (deposits slips, pens, staples, paper). Every week I order the supplies for the company and I always order extras of everything that I need. I used to bring them home but now I keep them at the office. I keep them in 5 bins spread out all over the areas where I spend the most time.<br><br>I have always ran out of supplies at home so instead of driving to walmart at midnight, I just steal from work. I use them for art projects, for my kid, for whatever. I never take large items. <br><br>Sometimes if we have extras of bigger items like shredders and printers, ill bring them home. Ive taken 2 printers, 2 shredders, an entire desk, and a couple of chairs. <br><br>The owner of the company never comes in where I’m at. I don’t think he knows what I do. Even if he did, he has no idea where I’m at and I never run into him. <br><br>I feel bad but also like Wtf, they don’t pay me enough and I always go above and beyond for the company. <br><br>I will probably never get caught but I’m always scared I will.
