Genuinely confused about something

I was lying in bed thinking about something. The teaser trailer for Toy Story came out in November 1995. The film itself didn’t get released till June 1996. <br><br>This is insane. I cannot imagine a film studio releasing a teaser trailer 7 months before the film comes out. It’s madness.
