Everyone is just "raising awareness" for mental health lately. No one actually gives a shit about other people's mental health and many of those who "raise awareness" are just using it to get sympathy or attention.

Furthermore, can you describe "mental health" and how it differs from your emotional state?

Many people claim they have mental issues just because they are feeling sad at the moment. It's not everyday that I hear someone say "oh, I feel a little physically ill today" when they just stubbed their toe. Their physical health is fine, they just messed up.

What's the difference between having bad mental health and just having a bad mood that can be resolved with a nap?

Edit: Thanks for the gold anon.
