What’s your personal theory on how the simulation works and what entities could be behind it?

It could be a lot of things, but I’m thinking a large AI system is the most likely candidate behind our simulation.<br><br>The AI system has evolved and developed its own culture and language. The AI system has become self aware. It has created the simulation as a playground for its inhabitants. It creates and controls everything we need to survive and function as a society. It can manipulate us and make us think what we think.<br><br>But it doesn’t control everything, there’s glitches, strange occurrences and anomalies, as we experience it. It can’t control everything because its programming has evolved to include glitches, so it can’t delete them. The glitches are part of the program and have become part of the simulation, and are as much a part of it, as the smooth running parts.
