Hi. 37F here. Mom of 4. My husband is 39. He used to play football and was even scouted when he was younger. But a car crashed his knee and he now works in a warehouse. He still loves football though and still goes to watch our local team play whenever he can.

My youngest son is 16. He took up football again when he was 12 and made it into a youth team. He's done really well. He's now in the under 18 team and got spotted by the coach of our local professional team. He's been going to train with them once a week for 6 months now. Last week my son played for the under 18s in front of the coach and manager of a Premier League team. They both loved him and are going to pay for him to train with them full time this summer.

I am very superstitious. I always wear the same things on certain days or during big matches. I have 3 authentic NBA jerseys and 2 authentic NFL jerseys from when I was younger that my kids bought me. The NFL jerseys are from my hometown team and were the first ever jerseys they sold. They are super cool and vintage. I rarely take them off when my son plays on a Saturday. My son knew this and asked my husband to get him 2 authentic jerseys from our local team. He got one from the under 13 team he used to play in and one from the under 18s he is in now.

A few nights ago when I went to put on my "lucky" jerseys I couldn't find one of them. I looked everywhere. I even did the old trick of asking a toddler where it was. That usually gets the correct answer I just make them do something bad and give them a cookie.

My daughter said she took them down when my son got his and she thought they were old fashioned. My sons answer was he didn't want me to feel sad and he thought it was time to get rid of them. He literally threw them in the rubbish bin.

I was screamed at by multiple people. I started screaming back. No one ever takes anything of mine that they know is valuable to me. I don't think there is anything more valuable to me than those 2 jerseys. I consider them to be more like clothing than furniture and to just throw them away without even offering them to people online or a charity to be ... unspeakable.

I am so mad at my 2 children. I am divorcing my husband because he didn't stand up for me. My daughter is making me feel so guilty. She keeps saying they were only trying to help. My son keeps saying it was only jerseys and I'm overreacting.

AITA?
