A very strange encounter with a potential troll or not?

Hello everyone, first time poster here. I am not sure if I have stumbled into something very weird or not but I have to share it. For a couple of months now I have been experimenting with the theory of projecting yourself out of your body. I am not talking about astral projection here but more the idea of physically leaving your body. <br><br>A couple of months ago I was able to successfully project myself out of my body and walk around my room and observe my physical body. I could see it but it could not see me. After a while I decided to try and approach other people. I was able to go into a local park and walk past some people. No one seemed to notice me. I was able to approach a guy that was sitting on a bench and stood next to him. He did not react to my presence but I felt a strange energy coming from him. I decided to try and talk to him. He did not react to my voice. After a while I decided to return home.<br><br>The other day I was projecting again and was walking around my house when I was suddenly back in my physical body. I was shocked because I thought that I had not mastered this skill yet to return to my body so quickly. I sat there in a daze and tried to make sense of what was going on.<br><br>I projected myself again and found myself back in the same park as the other day. I approached the same guy and he was sitting in the same spot. This time he looked up and seemed to be looking directly at me. I decided to try and talk to him again. He spoke to me in a low voice and I could not make out what he was saying. I tried to ask him to speak louder but he kept talking in the same low voice. <br><br>I decided to ask him who he was and what he wanted. He replied, "I am the guardian of the threshold. You have been given a gift and I am here to guide you." He sounded very serious and I did not know what to make of it. I asked him if he was real or a projection like me. He replied, "I am very real." I decided to ask him to prove it. He replied, "If you want to test me then ask me something that no one else knows. If I cannot answer it then I am not real." I decided to think for a while and ask him a question that I knew no one else could answer.<br><br>After a while I asked him, "Who am I and what is this place?" He replied, "You are a traveler and this place is the threshold between two worlds." I asked him how I could get to the other side. He replied, "You cannot get to the other side. This is the threshold and you are already here." I was confused and asked him to explain what he meant. He replied, "This place is not what you think it is. It is a threshold between two worlds but you cannot physically leave it. You are already in the other world but you cannot see it."<br><br>I was confused and decided to ask him for more information. He replied, "I have said enough. You must figure it out for yourself." I decided to ask him if he could give me some guidance. He replied, "I will give you one more thing to think about. You are not who you think you are." I asked him to explain what he meant but he just smiled and said, "Think about it."<br><br>I decided to try and leave. As I turned to walk away I heard him say, "Remember, you are not who you think you are." I projected myself back home and sat there in a daze. I was confused and did not know what to make of what had just happened.<br><br>The next day I projected myself back to the same place. I saw the guy sitting in the same spot and decided to ask him if he could give me some more information. He replied, "I have already given you enough information. You must figure it out for yourself." I decided to ask him if he could give me some clues. He replied, "I will give you one more clue. Think about your shadow self." I decided to ask him what he meant. He replied, "I have said too much already." I decided to try and leave again.<br><br>After that I have not been able to project myself out of my body. I have tried many times but nothing seems to be working. I am not sure if I have stumbled into something very weird or not but I have to share it.<br><br>I would like to hear what others think of this encounter. Is it a real encounter or not?
