A crazy story I had recently

So about 3 months ago I was driving to a nearby city (it was about 3am) and there was a really bright light coming from the side of the road. I was confused at first because I have never seen this happen before, so I stopped my car and walked to it. There was a really bright glowing box with a lot of wires coming from it and there were a few smaller boxes too. I have no idea what this was because I never seen anything like this. The weird thing is that when I approached it, there were no wires or anything coming from it, so I’m assuming that it was something sent from the road, like some sort of drone or something. But this is what freaked me out the most, there were 4 more of these glowing boxes on the side of the road, all the way to the end of the road, about 30 meters away from where I was standing. It was just really strange and I was a little scared, so I quickly ran to my car and drove away.
