How do you handle cultural taboos and/or 'sinful' things in your world?

This is more of a meta question.<br><br>In my world, there are a lot of things that would be considered 'taboo' or even sinful. But how do I go about making these things common place and normal in the society. I've got a bunch of examples in mind that I'll add at the end but I think I'll start with you. <br><br>I know this is something that many people see as an issue in modern day with LGBQT+, but I'm interested to see how people would handle this issue in fictional worlds.
