Do you think it's wrong to write stories where a man rescues a woman?

For the past few months I've been getting stuck in my writing and feeling like my stories are unoriginal. I've noticed that I keep going back to the theme of a man rescuing a woman. I know it's been criticized in the past, but I don't really understand why. I don't think that women can't be heroes, but I think men and women have different strengths and talents, and I don't see anything wrong with the idea of a man being able to save a woman from danger. Does anyone know why it's criticized, or have any suggestions for stories where this theme isn't necessary?

I don't think I've ever written a story where a woman rescued a man, so I feel a bit guilty for being one sided. But at the same time, I don't really see why this theme can't be used, as long as the woman isn't weak, and is portrayed as a hero as well.
