This is a personal, unprofessional, and informal question, so I’m asking it here in my own personal post, instead of trying to find an official subchambers for it. I’m interested in creating my own mythology for personal reasons, and I’m looking for rules or guidelines that will help me do this.

My background: I have studied various world religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism) and mythologies (Greek, Norse, etc.). I also have some knowledge of mythology in various cultures, (Haitian, African, etc.). I’m familiar with the concept of the archetypes, as well as the concept of the collective unconscious. I’m also familiar with the idea of the trickster, as well as the idea of the divine trickster. I’ve studied various world philosophies (existentialism, nihilism, etc.) as well as psychology (Jungian and otherwise), and I’ve studied the works of various philosophers, including Plato, Aristotle, and Kant. I’ve also studied the works of various psychologists, including Freud and Erikson.

So, what are the rules or guidelines that I should use to create my own mythology? I know that it should have a cosmology, but that’s about it. I’m not sure where to go from there.
