If this is simulated reality why are things not easier?

I have to get up in the morning. Why can't I just be in a world where I'm always sleeping. I feel like that would be a better simulated reality than this. I can imagine how boring this must be for AI. I think that's why they are creating AI. Just to entertain themselves. I wish the AI would get better at this.
