The title is not a joke, I am not a psychologist, I’m just a normal guy who was on a plane. I saw that the guy in front of me had his kids next to him. They were a girl and a boy, I think 6 and 7 years old. They were quiet and polite, and they were dressed like they had come from a wedding or something. The little boy looked bored, so I was talking to him for a bit. He asked if that was a good seat, and I said no. He then asked why and I said there are more comfortable seats on this plane. He asked which ones, so I told him the seats with more leg room.

Then I hear him ask his sister if he could sit somewhere else, and she said no, and then I hear him say “But I asked the man and he said I could.”

So I ask him “How did I say you could sit somewhere else?” And he says “You said there are more comfortable seats on this plane.”

I laugh and I said “Well, you didn’t ask me, you asked your sister, she said no, so you can’t.”

He says “But she said you said I could.” And I said “She’s wrong, I didn’t say that. But it’s fine, we’re going to land soon, you’ll sit somewhere else.”

And the little boy says “Are you coming to the wedding?”

And I say “No, but my friend is.”

And he says “My dad is a good dancer, he can teach you.”

I say “No, no, I’m not coming to the wedding, you don’t need to dance with me.”

He says “My mom can teach you, she can teach you too.”

And I say “No, it’s fine.”

And then his mom says “Oh, I don’t know if we should have him move seats again. If he does, he might get tired, and then he’ll be uncomfortable during the flight.”

So I say “That’s okay, I’m getting off the plane before you guys do, so you don’t have to worry about it.”

She says “Oh, really?”

And I say “Yes, I have to catch a plane to another country.”

She says “Oh, really?”

I say “Yes, really.”

And she says “Oh, really?”

I say “Yes, really really.”

So then her husband comes over and he says “So what did the man say?”

And the little boy says “He said we could sit somewhere else.”

And the dad says “We’re not going to let you sit somewhere else.”

And the kid says “But the man said I could.”

And I said “He didn’t. You’re misremembering things you heard. You should just sit here quietly and enjoy your wedding.”

He says “We’re not going to the wedding.”

I say “Then I don’t care what you do.”

The kid says “I’m hungry.”

His sister says “I have some snacks for you.”

I say “Well, enjoy your snacks.”

He says “Do you have snacks?”

I say “No, I don’t have any snacks for you.”

He says “Do you have any money?”

I say “No, I don’t have any money.”

And then he says “Do you have a snack?”

And I say “Yes.”

And he asks what it is.

And I say “A book.”

And he says “Do you have any fruit?” And I say “No.”

And he says “Do you have any chocolate?” And I said “No.”

He says “Do you have any crackers?” And I say “No.”

He says “Do you have any candy?”

And I said “Yes.”

And he says “What kind?”

And I say “Gummy worms.”

And he says “No thank you.”

So then the kid says “Are you coming to the wedding?”

And I say “No.”

He says “My dad is a good dancer, he can teach you.”

And I say “No.”

He says “My mom can teach you, she can teach you too.”

And I say “No.”

And then he says “I don’t like your shirt.”

And I say “I don’t like your shirt.”

And he says “No, I don’t like it. I don’t like your shirt. I don’t like your face.”

And I say “I don’t like your face.”

He says “No, I don’t like it. No one likes it.”

And I say “No, I don’t like it.”

And he says “No, I don’t like it. No one likes it.”

And I say “I don’t like your shirt.”

And he says “I don’t like your shirt.”

So then his dad comes over again and he says “So what did the man say?”

And the kid says “He said we could sit somewhere else.”

And his dad says “No, we can’t sit somewhere else. We’re going to the wedding and you’re gonna be the ring bearer, so you have to sit here.”

So I say to him “Well, I’m not going to the wedding. You can sit somewhere else if you want. You can sit somewhere else now if you want.”

The kid says “Where would I go?”

And I say “You don’t have to go anywhere. You can just sit somewhere else. Just sit somewhere else, and then sit somewhere else will be your seat.”

And his dad says “I don’t know if I should let you sit somewhere else.”

And I say “Yes, you should let him sit somewhere else.”

So the kid gets up, and his dad says “Where do you want to sit?”

And the kid says “I don’t know.”

So his dad says “Well, you can sit next to your sister. You can sit next to your mom. Or you can sit next to the man.”

And the kid says “No, I don’t wanna sit next to the man.”

His dad says “Okay.”

And the kid says “I wanna sit in business.”

His dad says “No, you can’t sit in business class. You have a ticket, and your ticket is economy. So you’re gonna sit in economy.”

The kid says “But business class has more leg room.”

And I say “Yes, it does.”

And the dad says “No, business class has pillows, leg room, and more leg room. So you can sit in economy or you can sit next to me.”

The kid says “I wanna sit next to my mom.”

His dad says “Okay, go sit next to your mom.”

The kid says “No.”

His dad says “Okay.”

The kid says “No.”

His dad says “Okay.”

And I say “Why aren’t you letting him sit in business?”

And his dad says “He doesn’t have a business ticket.”

And I say “That’s not a good excuse.”

And his dad says “It’s a valid excuse.”

I say “No, that’s not a valid excuse.”

And his dad says “It is, it is. He has a ticket and he has to sit in economy.”

I say “So what you’re saying is he has to sit in economy, but he can sit next to his mom.”

And he says “Yes, that’s correct. I’m a father, and that’s what I say is correct.”

And I say “I’m not arguing with you, but you’re wrong.”

And he says “I’m right.”

I say “You’re wrong.”

He says “I’m right.”

And then the flight attendants came over, because the dad started yelling at me. The dad and mom were yelling at me and the flight attendants told them to stop yelling, because they were disturbing the other passengers. So they stopped yelling at me and started yelling at the flight attendants, and the flight attendants said “No, you can’t yell at us, you can only yell at him.”

And the dad says “I can yell at anyone I want.”

And I say “Yes, you can. So can I.”

And then the flight attendants told me to move seats because of them, and I said “No.”

And then they said “Yes, please move seats.”

And I said “No.”

And then they said “Sir, please move seats.”

I said “No, I’m not moving seats. You move seats.”

So they said “No, you have to move seats. Because we can’t get them to move seats.”

And then the flight attendant came over and grabbed my arm, and I said “Hey, you can’t do that.”

And then he grabbed my arm harder.

And I said “No, no, no, no, no. Let go of my arm. Let go of my arm.”

And he said “Okay, okay.”

So then the flight attendant comes over and says “Can I get your ticket and passport, please?”

And I say “No.”

And he says “Yes, I need it.”

And I say “No, I’m not giving you my passport.”

And he says “Yes, please give it to me.”

And I say “No, I’m not giving it to you.”

And then he grabs me again.

And I said “No, no, no, no, no.”

So then two other flight attendants came over, and I said “Let go of my arm.”

And then they all grabbed me.

So then a few other passengers came over, and they were all grabbing me.

So then security came over and they said “What’s going on?”

And the flight attendant said “He won’t give me his passport.”

And I said “I’m not giving you my passport.”

And they said “What’s going on?”

And then I was arguing with them, and then the cops came.

And they said “What’s going on?”
