Hi everyone, I work for an Airbnb. We’re a small place, 14 rooms, 3 floors and we’ve been here for 12 years. We’re in the middle of nowhere and we’re a good 2 hour drive from the nearest city. The manager left without notice last Friday, I’m doing my best to keep things going, but it’s not easy.

When the pandemic hit, a lot of places were getting cancellations left and right but we were getting booked nonstop. The owner didn’t give me any choice and upped our prices to try to make the most money.

I’m doing my best, but the people who come here are a lot. I’m struggling to keep up with cleaning, laundry, and making sure everything is in working order. We get a lot of people who are inconsiderate, and it’s hard to deal with. I just don’t understand why they’re staying here when there are so many other places to stay.
