The worst things I've seen when no one was looking

A lot of times I see things that are rude and unbecoming of a human, but obviously wouldn't say anything because that's not why I travel. Here are a few things that stand out to me.

* Standing in front of a washroom sign at the airport and urinating.
* At a restaurant in a small town, the girl behind the counter was pregnant and in labor. The guy in front of me asked if she was "showing yet" like it was a side show.
* At a pool in a resort, the little girl next to me was screaming at her parents to throw her off the diving board, then she went splashing over to the side where a guy was reading a book. She grabbed his book and threw it in the pool. He just looked up at me and said "Yep, kids."
* At the beach in Mexico, the guy in front of me was digging a hole in the sand that was deeper than I was tall. His friend said "You think you're gonna find treasure?" And he said "Nope. I'm just gonna fuck my wife in the hole when we're done" I just kept my head down and hoped they didn't realize I heard.
* At a hotel bar, a woman was sitting with her friends. Her boyfriend showed up and literally picked her up and threw her on the bar. She was clearly not happy about it, but then her friends started laughing and she started laughing too. I guess some abuse is just tolerated, especially when you're on vacation.
* On the plane, the guy next to me had his phone on do not disturb. I could see the text messages blowing up his phone. His wife was clearly having an affair and he found out. He was trying to keep it together, but obviously had no idea.
* On the plane, the lady in front of me had her headphones in and was listening to music. The guy next to her started trying to get her to talk to him and wouldn't stop. She finally looked back at him and said "I'm not talking to you because I'm wearing headphones, not because I'm gay or something." Then she put her headphones back on.
* At a restaurant in Hawaii, the guy at the table next to us was on a first date. They were both clearly interested, but she was also clearly on a mission to make sure he never called her again. At one point she said "So do you have any thoughts on open relationships?" Then she said "So are you seeing anyone right now?" When he said yes, she said "cool. I'm seeing someone too. Thanks for dinner!" and she got up and left.
* On my honeymoon, at a restaurant in Jamaica. The lady at the table next to us was on a first date.
* On the plane, a guy had a service dog with him. The dog literally sat under the seat the whole flight and didn't bark once or move around. I asked the woman next to me if she was allergic or if she needed anything because of the dog. She said no, but that she wished she had a service dog like that dog. She said her dog literally never stopped moving around or barking. I guess some people are just more worthy than others.
