Why do so many travel influencers hate Tokyo?

I've never been to Japan, but I spend a lot of time watching travel vloggers on YouTube. I've noticed an overwhelming amount of them seem to hate Tokyo and all it has to offer. I'm not sure if they're just being edgy for views, but it seems so weird because I would 100% say it's my dream destination. <br><br>Can anyone explain to me why they hate Tokyo so much? I've read some of the comments and it seems like most of the hate comes from people that have never visited and have an extremely valid reason to dislike Japan (mental health) or people that just like to be contrarian. Is there a particular type of vlogger that hates it or a certain type of visit that makes them dislike it? I just find it so weird.
