Everytime I leave the United States, I get the strongest urge to never return. I'm European, born and raised. My family, friends, roots and history is all here. But something about America just makes me feel sick to my stomach and never want to come back.

I'm not sure if it's just because the US feels like a different species of "first world country," but every time I'm there, I just get a strong urge to never return.

I had a really bad experience in Miami in 2020. The city was really dirty and the people were not very friendly. I also felt like a lot of the activities I wanted to do were overpriced.

Then in 2022 I went to LA for work. LA is also really overpriced.

I think part of the reason I don't like America is because the country is so new. My family has lived in Europe for thousands of years. I don't feel connected to a country that is barely a century old.

I also think it's because America is so much more commercialized than Europe. I just don't like how business and money plays such a huge role in everything you do there.

I'm not sure what it is, but I just get a really bad vibe every time I'm in America.

TLDR: I'm European, but every time I go to the United States I get the strongest urge to never return.
