I asked my Airbnb host if there were any bugs in the apartment and she sent me 10 pictures of 10 bugs.

I’m traveling in Europe right now and stayed in a nice apartment in Sweden. I noticed a few bugs around and mentioned it to the host in my first message after booking. I didn’t mind them at all but just wanted to know so I could prepare.<br><br>To my surprise she sent me pictures of literally every corner of the apartment and all of them showed a bug of some sort. I was confused as there were maybe 5-6 bugs total. But every picture she sent me showed another one.<br><br>Then she told me that the apartment had a lot of bugs but that it didn’t bother her and that I shouldn’t worry too much either. She basically told me that I would probably find more anyway. I didn’t mind the bugs at all and thanked her but still found the message a bit strange.<br><br>Then I asked myself... Why did she send me 10 pictures of bugs? Why did she need to convince me of the fact that there are bugs in the apartment? I wouldn’t mind them at all and just wanted to know because I wanted to prepare myself. Maybe there are a lot more than just 5-6. Maybe they are poisonous. Maybe there is a bed bug infestation. Maybe it’s not just normal bugs. I have no clue and I was a bit confused why the host was trying to convince me that there are bugs. <br><br>I’ve been staying in Airbnb’s for years and never had a host do something like this. I think this is crazy and I don’t understand her message at all.<br><br>Doesn’t make sense to me.
