Just had the most surreal moment in the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen.

I’m on my honeymoon in Thailand and had the most surreal moment that I think will be forever in my memory.

My husband and I were walking from our bungalow to our overwater villa at the Amanpuri Resort in Phuket and stumbled upon a mother and father and their 2 little girls walking up to the pool.

The father picks up one of his little girls and walks up to me and my husband and asks if we would like a picture together. We were both a bit shocked but smiled and said of course.

The picture was taken and I looked at the father’s face as he was smiling and holding his daughter in his arms and the father’s smile reminded me of my own father who passed away 5 months ago. It’s not even a year since he’s passed away and I couldn’t help but to cry when I looked at his picture.

The father didn’t know why I was crying, but he just knew that he had made me happy and he asked if we could take another picture together.

The father and I hugged and he asked his girls to take a picture of us together. I was crying, he was smiling, my husband was smiling, and the girls were laughing.

I wish I could go back in time to tell my father that I love him, but I know that he knows in his heart that I love him no matter what.

But today, I felt like my father was with me in the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
