I've been stuck in a hostel in Barcelona for 8 days now. This is the worst experience of my life.

Hi everyone. I'm currently stuck in a hostel in Barcelona, Spain, and it's the worst experience I have had in my entire life. I arrived in Barcelona a week ago for a work trip. My flight arrived without any issues. But then I discovered that my luggage had not made it. The airline said it would be delivered to my hotel the next day, but then the airline said it would take a couple of days, and so on. At that point I was left with no choice but to purchase new clothing at a department store, but the staff at the airline's lost luggage department kept telling me that they would deliver my luggage within a couple of days. However, day 3 turned into day 5 turned into day 8. They told me that they would deliver my luggage, but it has not been delivered. At first I was told that the airline would pay for the items that I had purchased. But now the airline's customer service says that they will not pay for the items that I had purchased. And I have been forced to stay in this hostel for the past 8 days without any luggage or my money. The hostel is completely unfriendly. The staff is extremely unfriendly and rude, especially the manager. They keep saying that they are not responsible if the airline loses my luggage. The staff at the airline's lost luggage department keeps saying that they will deliver my luggage. But they have been lying for the past 8 days. I am stuck at this hostel with no luggage or any money. This is the worst experience I have had in my entire life. **UPDATE 1**: I am so grateful for the comments that I received. I have spoken to several politicians in Sweden. My local MP is very angry about what happened. He said that the airline is fully responsible for my luggage and that they will have to pay me for all the expenses I have made. However, the airline is not being honest. They told me that my luggage was delivered to the hotel, and then the hotel told me that they did not receive my luggage. The airline then sent my luggage to the airport where my flight departed. But they said that my luggage could not be delivered to me because the airport is closed. I have asked several airlines to deliver my luggage to me at another airport, but none of them have agreed to do this. I think that they are just hiding my luggage from me. **UPDATE 2**: The airline has now told me that my luggage was delivered to the hotel. But then they said that my luggage was delivered to the airport where my flight departed. They then said that my luggage was delivered to another city. They are now saying that my luggage will be delivered to me tomorrow. However, they are saying that the hostel did not receive my luggage because the hotel did not accept my luggage from the airline. This is not true, and I have spoken to the hotel about this. I am so fed up with this situation. They keep lying to me, and I think that they are just hiding my luggage from me. I do not know what else to do. **UPDATE 3**: After more than two weeks in the hostel, I finally got my luggage today. The airline told me that they delivered my luggage to the hotel, but the hotel told me that they did not receive my luggage. I then got my luggage at the airport, where they had hidden my luggage the whole time. Unfortunately, my money had not been delivered to me yet. They kept saying that it would be delivered today, but they told me that my money had been sent to the hotel. I then got my money at the hotel, but only part of the money had arrived.
