**TL;DR:**<br><br><br>I'm not going to give credit to the wrong team here so I'm going to say it right now that the first 20 posts or so were very positive and optimistic and talked about how great a purchase this would be and how this would make Samsung a much better company and how they'll be able to put more money into research and development.<br><br>That was followed by a slew of posts about how horrible this would be for the consumer, how much this would screw up the tech world, how much this would change the landscape and how this would be terrible for competition and that it would raise prices and limit consumer choice.<br><br>And then the same old 1% owned 99% memes came out, the "capitalists" vs "socialists" came out, the "capitalists" vs "communists" came out, the "capitalists" vs "anarchists" came out, and so on and so forth, because the same people always jump to the same old thing every single time.<br><br>That was followed by the "you're stupid" posts, the "you're delusional" posts, and the "you're being manipulated by the system" posts.<br><br>And finally, the "so now chambers is owned by apple" posts and the "so now chambers will just be an apple advertisement" posts because of course you guys are incapable of having an intelligent conversation about this.<br><br>**The problem is:** that 20 positive posts at the beginning and 20 negative posts after the beginning were the same people posting the same thing. 400 people posting the same 8 statements over and over and over again is not an interesting conversation.<br><br>**The problem is:** that there are many different people who have many different opinions, but these opinions are filtered out by the 400 people posting the same 8 statements over and over and over again. If you didn't notice, the "positive" posts and "negative" posts were buried under page after page of the same 8 statements.<br><br>**The problem is:** that there are many people who don't fit into either the "positive" or "negative" categories, and their opinions are also buried under page after page of the same 8 statements.<br><br>**The problem is:** that the "you're stupid" "you're delusional" and "you're being manipulated by the system" posts bury the intelligent and nuanced opinions.<br><br>**The problem is:** that there are so many different opinions on this topic that they can't all be given attention because the same 400 people are dominating the conversation with the same 8 statements over and over and over again.<br><br>**The problem is:** that you guys can't have an intelligent conversation, and that you can't handle the fact that people might have a different opinion than you.<br><br>**The problem is:** that you can't handle that not everything is black and white.<br><br>**The problem is:** that you can't handle that everything is a shade of gray.<br><br>**The problem is:** that you guys are incapable of having an intelligent conversation, and that you're incapable of being objective.
