I'm not sure if you've heard this already. But for context I work in the financial services industry in New York City.

A guy named Rajeev Misra, he's an old school trader and very well known, just posted a video where he said he was just fired from Citadel after 20 years because he made a comment about women not making good traders. I know this is going to sound super misogynistic, but it sounds like it's actually true.

He basically said that women are not good traders because of the emotional toll it has on them. He said that being a trader is too much to handle, and that he thinks women shouldn't be doing it.

Apparently, someone at Citadel thought he was being sexist and they fired him.

I'm not saying I agree with him or anything, but the way he explains it sounds logical to me. I also don't think it's a coincidence that he was fired for saying something like that, especially when there are so many lawsuits against banks for sexist workplaces.

I know a lot of people are talking about this right now, but it's definitely not the first time we've seen someone get fired for something like this. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
