Why is the frontpage of chambers so goddamn terrible?

I used chambers pretty heavily a few years ago. Recently I decided to come back and I am blown the hell away at how terrible the front page is. It's almost all nonsense. It's like the algorithm is designed to drive human interaction into the ground. The worst part is that there is no "old" front page. The communities page is the closest thing to it but the front page was always the best part of chambers. I don't care to see 40 videos in a row every time I come on. I'm serious, every time I come on there are 5-6 videos in the top 20 posts. The front page is so bad I've started using poosh more and more. Anybody else hate how terrible chambers is? I'm genuinely surprised that google isn't in the top 5 yet.
