Cloud computing was touted as the solution to every problem in the world. It would be cheaper, more efficient, better, and faster than local computing. <br><br>But is it? <br><br>The amount of energy it takes to run the cloud is absolutely enormous. It contributes to the worst inflation we've seen in decades, and the level of service is so bad it's practically unusable.<br><br>What happened? Why does cloud computing suck?
