NVIDIA RTX 3090 is the most powerful GPU ever built and I hate to say it but AMD is completely dead in the deep sea of AI era.

I'm a AMD guy who always stood by them and even bought RTX 3080ti after 3080 and 30810c failed to beat nvidia's midrange offerings. But after seeing the performance of nvidia's 3090, I have lost all hopes of AMD ever coming close. Even after cutting 500 price, AMD's HX series are nowhere close to the RTX 3090. It's not even close and if you do anything that requires more than 10 teraflops of performance, you can forget about AMD.

But it's not even the problem. The problem is that AMD's drivers are worse than nvidia's drivers, their software ecosystem is also worse. It's not even close. This is the era where you need the most compute power, it's not the era of gaming anymore and you need to play the game of catching up and it seems like AMD is not going to catch up.

As a result, I have lost all hopes from AMD and I'm left with no choice but to buy nvidia. Even though I have a strong bias towards AMD, I can't see any other choice when it comes to AI.
