If you start Microsoft's news site, the first thing you see is a **dramatic video** of how AI is going to change the world.

If you look at their new product line up, the first thing you see is a **dramatic image** of how AI is going to change the world.

If you see the new **'cloud computer'** that they have announced, you can change the name to 'cloud phone' or 'cloud xbox' or 'cloud TV' or 'cloud music player' and it would still make perfect sense.

But a **'cloud AI creator'**? No that's not a good name, that's a **'cloud PC'**.

If you watch the video of the Microsoft CEO, he claims that **the computer that you use now will be obsolete in 6 months.** No the PC is not obsolete, the phone is not obsolete. The device that you use to **text chat with your friends** is not obsolete.

The CEO also says that you will need an **AI creator subscription** to run Chrome, you will need another subscription to run Slack, you will need another subscription to run Spotify.

If you use multiple AI tools at once, you will need **an AI creator subscription for every tool that you use.** No, you don't need another subscription, just pay for a bigger AI creator subscription. Why do I need another subscription just to run multiple apps? You are not making any sense!

That isn't a product announcement, that's a **marketing speech**, intended to get people excited about a product that doesn't even exist yet.

But then, **Satya does the ol' switcheroo** and claims that the product already exists.

It's not possible for Satya to do something boring or subtle.
