For the past two months, I’ve been testing both Google Home Max and the Echo (Gen 3). I started off with the Echo and thought it was an amazing device. It sounded good, it was easy to set up, and it was affordable.

Then I got the Google Home Max. This thing sounds amazing! I’m not an audiophile by any means, but it sounded so good that it made me really disappointed in the Echo. I ended up returning my Echo.

I’m not going to return my Google Home Max. It’s not that expensive, and it’s worth every penny. I can watch TV in the living room, and it will sync with my Google Home Max without any problems. I can ask it to play something, and it will seamlessly switch over to the Google Home Max. It recognizes when the volume is turned up on the TV, and it will turn up the volume accordingly.

I also use it in the bedroom. I have an old Google Home there that I connected to an old speaker dock. It can find it and control it properly. I can also sync it to the Home Max if I want to. It recognizes the volume on the TV, and turns up the volume accordingly.

It’s amazing! Amazon can’t do any of this.
