My (20F) boyfriend (20M) said that I was embarrassing him while I was giving birth to our baby

I gave birth last week to a healthy baby boy. It was a long labor and I was in pain for many hours. I was scared and crying and doing my best to deal with it. I have been in contact with my boyfriend the whole time, he was calling me and giving me instructions on what to do. About an hour before I gave birth he called and talked to me. After I hung up he called again and asked me why I was screaming so much. I was screaming because I was scared, in pain and confused. Then he said that I am making fun of him and embarrassing him. I hung up the phone and gave birth by myself. <br>Few days ago I told him that I felt embarrassed and that he was right. He got happy and said that I should’ve listened to him and that I could’ve avoided the embarrassment. I didn’t respond to him but now I feel bad about what I said. I feel like an asshole for agreeing with him and I don’t know what to do.
