My (26M) girlfriend (26F) said I'm not allowed to leave the house without my phone. Is this fair?

My girlfriend (26F) and I are planning to move in together in a few months and she's already moved out of her parents house to a place of her own. We have been together for a few years now and we have had our fair share of arguments.

However, this morning she was asleep and I had to go to the convenience store across the street. I asked her if I could stay up waiting for her to wake up but she said it was okay, went to sleep and I ended up going to sleep as well. A couple of hours later (4:30 am), I woke up and fell asleep again. After another couple of hours (6 am), I woke up again, got dressed and decided to go to the convenience store across the street (I needed water). I didn't want to wake her so I just left without waking her up.

When I came back, I woke her up and asked if she needed anything. She told me that she didn't need anything and that she was going back to sleep. I went to sleep again but then she started shouting at me. I asked her what was wrong and she said that she was scared because I left the house without her knowing. I told her that I was sorry and that I had already planned to go before I fell asleep. She then said that she didn't mean that and that she was scared because I left the house at 6:30 without telling her.

I told her that I didn't need to tell her and that it's not uncommon for me to leave the house at this time (I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now), and she said no. She said that she doesn't allow me to leave the house without telling her and that she doesn't allow me to leave the house without my phone.

I told her that this was unfair and that she has no right to stop me from leaving the house and that she has no right to demand that I bring my phone everywhere I go. I told her that I don't want to live with someone like this and she started screaming at me.

Am I in the wrong here? Is this fair?
