I’m (37F) pregnant and 4 days away from going on a work trip. My husband (36M) wants me to abort our child but I don’t want to.

Throwaway account. Long post. <br><br>My husband and I have been together for 10 years and married for 1. We both had our previous relationships end and were friends before getting together. I’ve never been in love with anyone the way I am with him. He’s kind, he’s understanding, he’s intelligent and he always treated me well. We had our ups and downs but divorced or separated we have never been. <br><br>We were trying our longest 4 months to conceive and I finally got pregnant a couple weeks ago with our first child. I told my husband immediately before telling anyone else. He was happy for me and showed it through his actions and words. <br><br>4 days ago I’m going on a work trip. It’s 5 days and honestly I’m tired and not feeling great due to morning sickness and I’m worried about my work performance. My husband knew the dates and knew I’d need help when I got back so he offered to hook up the nursery and do some yard work for me while I recover. He’s been an amazing support thus far. <br><br>This is where the story takes a turn. I had a doctor’s appointment this morning before my flight and the ultrasound revealed there’s no living embryo in my uterus. There was only tissue. My husband is devastated as he always wanted to be a father but after some thinking I told him I want to try again and get it right this time. My husband was adamant against it and said his mind was made up, we couldn’t try again and we needed to “cut our losses”. He tried to convince me to have an abortion. I told him I was hesitant about it and he got angry with me and called me a “baby killer”. <br><br>I don’t want to have an abortion but I don’t want to risk another failed pregnancy. It’s getting to the point where I’m about to collapse from guilt. How do I convince him that I’m right? How do I handle this situation? <br><br>TLDR: My husband and I were trying to conceive but the ultrasound revealed there is no living embryo in my uterus. He wants to abort the pregnancy but I don’t.
