What would make you lose faith in communism

I’m just curious, I’ve been in this sub and it’s been super cool seeing how different people have different ideas. I’m not saying that I am not a capitalist or that I don’t like capitalism. I am a huge believer in capitalism, but I also like communism as an idea. The reason I’m asking is because I was looking at this sub because my sister who is an artist (painting and drawing) has been looking at a lot of communist art. She doesn’t think it’s fair that she can’t make money off of her art and I understand her perspective. She would love to just give her art away to help people and be happy that people are happy with her work. But unfortunately, she doesn’t believe she can do that in capitalism because she can’t survive that way.

So I guess my question is, how would you feel if you could make a good living off of something you love? I don’t know how this sub would take it, but I think it would be super cool if people could be able to do that. Maybe not the best answer and I know some of you will disagree but that’s the question I have.
