I think morality is like evolution, and not much more.

I believe morality to be an evolved trait, just as strong jaws or sharp eyesight are. Our morals have evolved because they are useful for survival. I think it is the same with all of us. Our morality is simply a tool we use to survive. I think most of us use our morals as an excuse to do what is good for us. For example, "it would be immoral to hurt others", but really what is happening is, "I want to survive, so I won't hurt others".
