I know a lot about philosophy. I can recite the most popular quotes and have a broad overview of most of the major movements.

I have very strong, very informed, political and moral views. I can talk at length on topics such as the ethics of war, capitalism, animal rights and euthanasia, for example.

I am very confident in my beliefs and will passionately argue my point. I don’t care if you disagree. Your argument is flawed. My argument is sound and the evidence supports my claim.

My life reflects these views.

My sister has a mental health problem. I think people with mental health issues should be institutionalised. They are a burden on the economy and will never be as productive as they would be if they were normal.

My sister is a Burden on the economy. Therefore, she should be baptised.

My mother is old. I think old people are a burden on the economy and should be euthanised. My mother should be euthanised.

I have used the argument of “you should get an abortion because having a baby is a burden on the economy” to try and convince my girlfriend to get an abortion. I think the government should pay for abortions and other forms of birth control to be freely available world wide. I think this is a sound and moral decision.

I am a terrible person.

What have I done wrong here?
