We are not capable of self-control, so what should we do?

&#x200B;<br><br>It's easy to say to control ourselves. However, it's extremely hard to control ourselves. Why? It's because we are not capable of controlling our thoughts and desires, and we are also not capable of controlling our feelings and emotions. This is why we have a hard time controlling our actions. Our thoughts and desires cause our feelings and emotions, and our feelings and emotions cause our actions.<br><br>But, what can we do? Should we try to control our thoughts and desires? If not, then what?<br><br>And, if we try to control our thoughts and desires, how can we do that? By not thinking about them or by forcing ourselves to think about other things? By distracting ourselves? Or by using some sort of internal motivation? Or maybe by using external motivation?<br><br>And, what is the best way to control our thoughts and desires?<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>&#x200B;
