Why do people think it’s okay to do anything you want in private?

It’s not like people don’t know that they can be heard. There’s been too many stories of people recording others without consent. The argument that people who have their private moments recorded or live-streamed have no right to privacy is pretty clear and well-documented.

But for some reason, people still think it’s their own personal right to do whatever they want in private. I see this in regards to pornography, people think it’s fine to film themselves in private when it’s completely invasive and they have zero control over what happens to the video afterwards.
