My friend just sent me this message.

I (27f) have been single for about a year now. I have been talking to this guy (24m) for the past 6-7 months. He's been a friend of mine for about 4-5 years now, and he knows I have been single. We have talked several times over the past few months, and have texted about various things. <br><br>I have been sending him messages asking if he wants to hang out, and we haven't made it a point to meet up yet. He is always busy and never responds to those messages right away. But, if I send him a random message about a funny meme or something, he will always respond. <br><br>Today I sent him a message saying "hey, you know how I've been asking you out for a while now? Well, I want to make it clear that I am not going to continue asking you out if I never get a response. I'm not going to play the part of the clingy girl. So, I'm going to put it out there that if you don't respond to this, I'm going to stop asking you out." <br><br>Well, he did respond to that, but his response was "i don't wanna get stuck in a relationship right now, but i do want to be in a sexual relationship" and "i just don't have the time or the desire to have a relationship right now". I was kind of disappointed by this. <br><br>I asked if we could be friends, and he said he wasn't sure. I asked him if he would get back to me on that, but he hasn't. I sent him another message asking if we can at least be acquaintances, but he didn't respond to that one either. <br><br>I feel like a complete failure of a human being right now. I want to be with him, and I want him in my life. But I don't want to be treated like this, and I don't want to keep going back and asking him to hang out when he obviously doesn't want to. What should I do now? <br><br>TL;DR I sent a clear message to a guy I have been talking to for months saying I'm not going to ask him out anymore. He told me that he wants a sexual relationship, but does not want a real relationship and doesn't have the time for one. He has not gotten back to me since then. What do I do now?
