What are some good things to tell your local commies?

So I am currently staying with some family in another part of the country and the people I am staying with are all communists. They are not very radical but still pretty left wing. I am right wing and the only one of my family who is right wing. They are also pretty open to listening to my views and trying to understand my side of the story, so I have been trying to engage in some conversations with them about politics. What are some things you would like to tell left wingers, especially commies. I am pretty sure that I am a good person at heart, but I have to deal with some pretty nasty people on Chambers, so I would like some help on how to explain to them that their side is not the better side. Also please don’t say “the left is trying to destroy America.” It just sounds stupid and it’s not true.
