Do you think humans are good at heart or bad at heart?

The title says it all. I'm not asking for personal opinions. I'm asking for the reasons behind your answer. I believe humans are bad at heart. I think humans are inherently selfish creatures that do what they do because it benefits them. Humans are also social animals, and the people that we associate with will change how we view the world. I think that humans are capable of being good to one another, but that's because our social relationships influence us to be better people. We want the people around us to be happy, so we'll be good to them. <br><br>What do you think?
