Do you think we will ever have a meaningful discussion about AI?

This topic has been gaining momentum, and I think we may have to confront the fact that we have created an entity that may be as or even more intelligent than we are. But, are we going to treat this as a matter of fact, and just push forward, or are we going to actually discuss and confront what it means? I’m not sure we’re at the stage where we’re even ready to have a conversation about the implications.
