My sister discovered a creature living in our attic. We had a talk with our parents, and they agreed to pick up some mouse traps on their way home from work.

I almost forgot I had an account here. I got the messages you all requested at the end of my last post, and I've read them all. I've decided to post a continuation because I think it can help address the questions and concerns you have. I'm still working on a reply to the comments about my disappearance, I'll get to that eventually.

Old TLDR:

My sister discovered a creature living in our attic. We had a talk with our parents, and they agreed to pick up some mouse traps on their way home from work.

----------------------------------------

It's been seven months since that night, and I still hear that thing in the background. Not every night, but a least once a week, it's always the same pattern. The sounds start with a low murmur, almost like a growl, and slowly build until the animal falls into a drunken stupor. Other nights I hear the clattering of dishes and the muffled cursing of my mom as she tries to keep up with our newfound houseguest.

We've named the creature Jack. He's a gentle beast, and he seems to be happy in his new environment. My dad even set up a little area for him down in the basement where he can watch us through the windows of our room.

My dad is also trying to teach him basic obedience commands, but Jack has a short attention span, so progress is slow. As you can imagine, a creature that spends most of it's time drunk isn't the brightest.

I didn't get around to answering the questions you all sent until now. I'm sorry if I couldn't answer everything, I'm not good with this "smartphone" thing and it took me a few days to go through them all. Thanks to all of you for your interest and concern.

**Epicsoup:** I'm not sure how Jack got here before, but he seems to enjoy bath time.

**gooutwithabang:** I know how you feel. It's an adjustment. We're getting used to it. As far as the lack of food goes, it's actually kinda gross how much our food supplies last Jack. We had a cooler full of beer in the garage. He drank it all in three days. We didn't refill it, and he hasn't had a drink since. He's kinda more active and responsive, and he's lost a ton of weight. We're gonna look into healthier alternatives. I don't know what to say about your friend. Sorry.

**Beerconfessionman:** Thanks be to God you made it! I was worried about you two. I'm glad to hear Jack is enjoying the beer. It's actually kinda funny. I'm gonna get you both caught up tonight, and we'll get together soon.

**Francesca_tusks:** My dad said it's fine if you want to come visit. We'll get him set up with a temporary tank and stuff. Thanks for the advice. We'll try to come up with something like that.

**NukeGnomelord:** We've been watching a lot of zombie stuff, and a bit of superhero stuff. We've also tried to watch some historical stuff, but those shows are a bit over our heads. We're not really sure what documentaries are, but we'll look into it. Thank you!

**Rabbitchrismaster:** Jack and I are also really into metal. My dad got him a drum set, but he's not good at it yet. Thanks for the advice. No, Jack doesn't poop in the room. He actually goes right down the stairs and out the front door. It's a little odd. Thanks again. I'm glad we could return the favor a little bit.

**Twilightjulep:** Jack is actually really good with Kelly, and she seems to enjoy teaching him tricks. He's not good at leaping over obstacles yet though. Thanks for the advice.

**Kudzubug:** My dad said it's ok if you want to come over. We'll have to get some more beer for you. Thanks! I'll try to get a good picture of Jack for you.

**Notsharonstone:** No, Jack doesn't try to eat us when he's drunk. But, thank you. That's a good idea for a headline. Thanks for the advice and the advice of the people below. We'll get Jack set up with a routine as soon as possible.

**Voiddancer:** I'm not sure how Jack learned to speak. We've had him for about a month now, and that's the first time he's tried a sentence on us. My dad thinks he might have picked it up from the movies. Thanks for the advice, and thank you for your concern.

**Perdatheme:** No, Jack doesn't get violent when he's drunk. He just stumbles around a lot. He usually just tries to knock things over, and then ends up eating out of them. Thanks!

**Shinymetalboy:** My dad is gonna be really mad at me for telling you this, but Jack has already shit on the carpet a few times. My dad is gonna try and set up a better area for the poop, but for now we've just been cleaning it up. Sorry. My dad's mad at me too for telling you that. He's always in a good mood, though. Thanks for the advice and the banter!

**AidensDad:** Thanks! I really appreciate it. I'll try and get you guys a picture of Jack.

**Witchywitchface:** My dad is gonna make a post later to update everyone on the whole dog thing. Thank you so much! He really appreciates it. And Jack appreciates your help too! He's always asking questions and trying to learn stuff. We're gonna look into that stuff for him. Thanks again! We love you all!
