My sugar daddy asks me for weird favors...

I first met my sugar daddy on a sugar daddy website, which was a pretty bold move on my part because I’d never done a sugar daddy arrangement before and I’d heard all sorts of horror stories about sugar babies being scammed and abused.

But I was desperate. I had just finished my college education and I had over $100,000 worth of student loans to pay off. I got a job at the local coffee shop but it wasn’t paying the bills and I had to keep working just to make ends meet, let alone pay off my loans.

That’s when I turned to sugar dating. I wasn’t exactly sure what it would entail but I was willing to do whatever it took to earn some extra money and get my head above water.

So far, I was enjoying it. My sugar daddy was generous and sweet and he seemed like a genuinely kind person. His name was John and he was a lot older than me, in his mid-sixties. I’m 25 so I guess you could say he was over twice my age, but he didn’t make me feel like a kid, he treated me like an equal, and he was very respectful.

It was nice having someone to care for me for a change. I had been fumbling my way through adulthood and taking care of myself for years but lately it seemed like every step backwards and no forward progress.

So when John offered to pay for pretty much all of my expenses I was more than happy to accept, and I decided to become his sugar baby.

He told me he was divorced and didn’t have any kids of his own, but his own children were grown and away from home so he said they didn’t see each other often anyway.

He asked me a little bit about myself, like what my favorite foods and past times were and what my interests were, and then he didn’t really ask me anything else about myself again, which was a bit weird, but I didn’t really care.

I asked him a bit about himself and he told me he was a businessman who made lots of money and was able to retire at a pretty young age.

He asked if I had any secrets and I was a bit confused because I wasn’t sure why he’d be asking me that. Then he said he was looking for a trustworthy sugar baby because he was going to start asking me for favors.

I didn’t really know what to say to that.

I told him I was pretty trustworthy but that I would have to know what kind of favors he was talking about before I agreed to them.

He told me he didn’t mean anything illegal or anything weird but that he wanted to see if I was capable of doing certain tasks for him that he couldn’t do himself, and that he wanted to see if I was brave enough to help him out.

Then he told me what the first favor would be, and it surprised me.

He said his neighbor had recently passed away and left behind a pet cat who didn’t have any other family to care for him, and he was asking me to look after the cat for a few days.

He said he would drop the cat off at my place, then I should just let the cat stay with me for a few days and then he’d come back and pick the cat up.

I asked him why he didn’t want to ask the cat’s original owner’s family to look after the animal and he told me he hadn’t been able to get hold of them and they clearly didn’t want the cat.

I said ok, and he told me to expect the cat the next day.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my doorbell ringing. I got up and walked to the front door of my apartment and opened it and saw John standing there with a big plastic bag in his hand and a little black cat inside it.

The cat came running out of the bag as soon as John opened it up and ran to my front door, then looked back up at me with big green eyes and meowed.

I stood there in silence for a moment, unsure of what to do, then John told me to just go ahead and let the cat stay with me for a few days and he’d come back and pick it up.

I was a little hesitant but I didn’t want to seem rude, so I told him it was fine.

He then asked me if it was okay if he texted me from outside my apartment or from a few doors down to let me know when he was coming to pick the cat up.

I said it was fine and he walked off down the hallway, then stopped and turned around.

He came back over to my door and I asked if there was something else he wanted to tell me but he said there wasn’t.

Then he stepped really close to me, closer than felt comfortable, and said I had to promise to give him back exactly the same cat that he gave me.

I wasn’t sure what he was getting at but I just told him ok, then he turned and walked off again and I went inside to let the cat in.

I put some cat food and water down for him and then he wandered around my living room for a while, purring and rubbing against things and meowing.

I didn’t really want to think about what John had said to me as I had a feeling it wasn’t good and I didn’t want to let myself get spooked.

I figured I’d ask him about it later.

Later on that day I got a text from a number I didn’t recognize that said “I’m outside your apartment”.

It was the first text John had ever sent me and it made me feel a little strange, but I didn’t really have time to think about it because I was busy with work.

I was working a double shift at the coffee shop because my co-worker had called in sick and they couldn’t find anyone to replace her.

I worked in the AM and then took the metro home at five o’clock and then worked again from six o’clock until eight.

By the time I finished my shift I was exhausted, so I ordered some takeout and then sat down to eat it on my couch, with the cat sitting next to me.

It was a cat I’d named Balmung and he was really cute.

I watched some YouTube videos after I ate and then went to bed, and the next time I saw John was on Sunday when I woke up from a nap.

I’d gotten hardly any sleep the night before because I could hear two guys playing bass and lead guitar outside my apartment very loudly, and it was driving me crazy.

I tried to call the cops and get them to come and make the noise stop but it was a weekend shift and no one was working, and the noise was gone when I finally gave up.

I was so tired after all that so I decided to take a nap and try and get some rest.

I turned onto my side and closed my eyes, and then I woke up because I heard my door opening and closing.

I had a feeling it was probably just the delivery guy with my lunch order so I didn’t really wake up, just kind of rolled over and made a low noise to say I was awake.

Then I heard John’s voice and I kind of shot straight up in bed.

He was standing in my bedroom and he was out of breath.

He asked me what was wrong and I said I was just startled. Then I asked him what he was doing in my room and he said he came over to check on me because he’d been trying to call me for a long time and I wasn’t answering.

I told him my workspace was really loud and I wasn’t able to check my phone all day and I’d turned it off when I went to bed.

Then John asked me if I was okay because I looked really sick and I was shaking when I got out of bed.

I told him I was just tired and really tired lately.

Then John sat down next to me on the bed and put a hand on my shoulder. It was a comforting gesture but I felt a chill run down my spine.

I asked him if he could move off my bed so I could talk to him, then I asked him what he’d been trying to call me about.

John said he had a favor to ask of me and he wanted to make sure it was okay with me before he asked.

Then he said he had to go back to his house and he couldn’t take Balmung with him because the cat didn’t like his cat.

I was confused. I was sure John had told me he had a cat. Then he said his cat was named Whiskers and it was a real bitch.

I told him I was sure Whiskers was a nice cat.

John said she was really mean and would try and kill Balmung so he couldn’t take them together.

Then I asked him why he was asking me if I could look after the cat for him and he said he was going out of town for some days.

I told him no problem, I could look after the cat until he got back.

Then John said he couldn’t leave the cat with me for that long.

I was confused again and I think I must have looked it because John explained that he couldn’t leave the cat with me for that long because Whiskers would kill Balmung.

I said ok, but I didn’t know if I could ask my parents to look after the cat for that long, and my job wouldn’t give me that much time off.

Then John pulled out his wallet and pulled out a wad of cash. He waved it at me and said it wasn’t a problem.

I said thank you, then I asked how often I was supposed to feed the cat.

Then John leaned over me
