The James Webb Telescope discovered something terrifying in deep space

I work for NASA as an astronomer, and there are certain things I know that I'm not allowed to discuss publicly.

The James Webb Space Telescope was built to explore the universe in ways that its predecessors could only dream of. By pushing the boundaries of telescope technology and science, we hoped to discover new things about the cosmos.

The James Webb Space Telescope saw things that were previously unimaginable. But in doing so, it discovered something terrifying in deep space. Something that we do not want to talk about.

This is what I know. No one knows any more than I do.

The James Webb Space Telescope found an unknown region of the universe. We call this region the "Abyss." The Abyss is a vast expanse of nothingness that appears to be everywhere at the same time. It's as though the universe has folded back in on itself, creating a seemingly endless void. The strange thing is that when we try to measure the size of this void, it doesn't make sense - no matter how big our most powerful telescopes can see, the Abyss appears even larger than that.

But that's not the most disturbing thing about the Abyss. We've sent several spacecraft into our universe to try to learn more about it, but none of them have ever returned. It's as if once they cross a certain line, they're gone forever. The last spacecraft we sent vanished in sight of the Abyss, offering us our first glimpse of the unknown beyond the void. But it didn't come back.

We've also detected strange sounds coming from the Abyss. The scientists who hear them will never forget the experience, because they aren't sounds you can hear - they're sensations you feel. It's as though your teeth and bones are humming. That's what we hear when we listen to the Abyss.

The James Webb Space Telescope found the Abyss. That's the truth. But we're not telling anyone.
