They are funded by USAID, a federal government program that is funded by Congress and the U.S. government.<br><br>They are also funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation. They are all major funders of this institution.<br><br>This is a direct link between the U.S. government and the one-child policy.<br><br>China has used forced abortions, forced sterilizations, and forced IUDs as a means to enforce this policy.<br><br>It is well-documented that Chinese authorities have engaged in forced abortions and sterilizations. <br><br>China has used forced abortions and sterilizations to enforce its one-child policy, and the U.S. government has funded the implementation of that policy.<br><br>The one-child policy has also been used to target ethnic minorities, including the Uighur population, which is predominantly Muslim.<br><br>Now, the U.S. government has also funded China's birth control programs and population control efforts.<br><br>I'll give you one example: a 1994 U.S. government document shows that USAID funded the Chinese government's family planning programs, including those in the Xinjiang region.<br><br>Xinjiang is where the U.S. government has acknowledged that China is committing genocide against the Uighurs.<br><br>China has used forced sterilizations and forced abortions in Xinjiang.<br><br>In 2019, China passed the Population and Development Law, which included provisions for forced sterilizations and forced abortions.<br><br>The U.S. government has also funded China's research on population control, including research on forced sterilizations.<br><br>In 2005, the U.S. government's Institute of Medicine, now known as the National Academy of Medicine, published a study on China's one-child policy.<br><br>The study was funded by the U.S. government and included contributions from researchers at the China Research Institute on Population and Development, the same institution that drafted the one-child policy.<br><br>The study included discussions of forced sterilizations and forced abortions as methods for enforcing the one-child policy.<br><br>In conclusion, the U.S. government has funded China's one-child policy, birth control programs, and population control efforts.
