A lot of people think that communism is just a bad thing, because of a bunch of bad things that happened in the name of communism. However, I’d argue that there are a lot of problems with the way that capitalism and the American right wing functions. I’ve seen a lot of posts on this subchambers that are just responses to the far-right, however I’d like to make a left-wing response as well.

I’d like to point out that I’m not a communist just because of how capitalism functions, but because I’m really interested in how people in a country would work and function if there was no need for money, and everyone was just contributing to society in their own way. However, that is a whole different topic, and I’m sure you guys don’t want to hear me talk about that. So here are some problems I have with the right-wing, and I’d love to hear your responses as well.

**1. Racism.** The right-wing in America seems to be extremely racist. It seems that they like to make people think that they’re “color blind” when in fact they are racist, and they love to keep people from thinking that. I’ve also seen a lot of racist stuff that has been said and done by conservative figures and people. The far-right loves to say “we are color blind” but in fact, a lot of them are just plain racist.

**2. They love to demonize poor people.** It seems like the American right-wing is extremely against poor people and loves to make it seem that people are poor because they “work hard enough” and they don’t deserve anything. They love to say that people who are poor are just poor because they are lazy, but I’d argue that people who are poor are often just in debt and are working their asses off to get money just to survive, but it never seems to get them to the middle class. They love to say that “if you work hard enough, you can be rich” but that’s not true at all, especially with the current state of the economy.

**3. They love to demonize people who are mentally ill.** The American right-wing loves to demonize people who are mentally ill, and they love to say that they’re “crazy” or “insane”. They love to demonize people who are mentally ill and they don’t care at all. I’ve seen a lot of conservative people talk about mental illness and they just don’t care.

**4. They love to demonize people who are in the LGBTQ+ community.** I think this one is self-explanatory. They just hate people who aren’t cisgender, or who are not straight. They love to say that people who are LGBTQ+ are “crazy” or “insane”, and they just don’t care. They love to say that they are “color blind” but in fact, they hate anyone who isn’t white, and they love to make it seem like they are color blind, but they’re just not.

**5. They love to demonize people who are in the Democratic Party.** The American right-wing loves to demonize people who are in the Democratic Party, and they just don’t care. They love to say that people who are in the Democratic Party are “crazy”, or “insane”. They love to say that Democrats are “evil” or “terrible people”, and they just don’t care. I think this is because most Democrats tend to be more liberal, and the far-right hates anything that isn’t conservative.

**6. They love to demonize people who are on welfare.** They love to demonize people who are on welfare, and they love to say that people who are on welfare are just “lazy” and that they don’t deserve anything. I think this one is pretty self-explanatory, but I’d argue that people who are on welfare are just in a hard spot financially, and they don’t want to go in debt, so they just take welfare to survive. However, it seems like the American right-wing just hates people who are on welfare, and they just don’t care.

**7. They love to demonize people who are against the war.** The American right-wing loves to demonize people who are against the war, and they just don’t care. They love to say that people who are against the war are “crazy”, or “insane”. They love to say that people who are against the war are “terrible people”, and they just don’t care. I think this is because most people who are in the military tend to be conservatives, and the American right-wing loves to glorify the military, however they love to demonize people who are against the war.

**8. They love to demonize people who are in the BLM movement.** The American right-wing loves to demonize people who are in the BLM movement, and they just don’t care. They love to say that people who are in the BLM movement are “crazy”, or “insane”. They love to say that people who are in the BLM movement are “terrible people”, and they just don’t care. I think this is because most people who are in the BLM movement tend to be more liberal, and the American right-wing just hates anything that isn’t conservative.

**9. They love to demonize people who are against abortion.** The American right-wing loves to demonize people who are against abortion, and they just don’t care. They love to say that people who are against abortion are “crazy”, or “insane”. They love to say that people who are against abortion are “terrible people”, and they just don’t care. I think this is because most people who are pro-choice tend to be more liberal, and the American right-wing just hates anything that isn’t conservative.

**10. They love to demonize people who are against guns.** The American right-wing loves to demonize people who are against guns, and they just don’t care. They love to say that people who are against guns are “crazy”, or “insane”. They love to say that people who are against guns are “terrible people”, and they just don’t care. I think this is because most people who are against guns tend to be more liberal, and the American right-wing just hates anything that isn’t conservative.
