The 48/48 thing

I see it a lot, that women should only go for a 9/10 and men should only go for a 9/10. It's dumb because that's not how people go out on dates, women and men will go for people below their attractiveness average because you're not going to find a partner that is the same level as you all the time.<br><br>For women: you are going to be the 7/10 in the relationship and it's going to be your job to make him feel like he's the best man ever. If you are a 9/10 you will not find a man who is also 9/10, you are going to be the 7/10. I would not want to be with someone who is not the best version of themselves in a relationship. That sounds awful.<br><br>For men: you will not find a 9/10 woman all the time. She will have her flaws, you'll have to work past them and be her best version too. If you're a 6/10 you'll never be able to find someone who is 8/10. You'll have to compromise, she'll be a 7/10 and she'll make you feel like you're a 10/10, because she is a 10/10 to you.<br><br>The idea that you'll only go for the absolute best is dumb. The idea that you'll only go out with someone who is the absolute best version of themselves is also dumb. This is how people go on dates and relationships work and that is all there is.
